Black Mesa contacted us heroes, when we were first making names for ourselves. They offer help and upgrades for our suits, in exchange for us collecting as many alien samples for them as we can manage. In a way, our hero identities have jobs, just like our civilian ones.

headcanon: invader is actually a pretty low rank despite how important it is (sorta like how how janitors and garbage truck drivers are seen as lowly but are vital to life as we know it), which is why zim and skoodge, both infamously short and one infamously terrible at everything, are both able to be invaders

hey!! would you mind not tagging picrews with only two dark skin tones or only ash skin tones as dark skin tones? its really frustrating to only have literal white, pale, ash, and blue as the only skin tones, especially when specifically looking for creators with dark skin tones (sorry if i come off as aggressive, i dont mean to!! i have autism and cant really read my tone very well)

It’s okay, I understand! I tag them with dark skin tones because they are not all white and I usually add another tag afterwords something like, limited or very limited, so if you see that, then that means they had crappy options for skin tones, and you don’t have to do it.

sfjFJ it’s episode 17 of the “sequel” to the 90s anime, titled ‘Bouken Nikki/Adventure Diary’.

this series was never dubbed or subbed into English (altho I think it was Swedish and Finnish? not sure if they’re available online tho), but that shouldn’t ruin your enjoyment of it.

it’s not quite as good as the first but it can be a lot of fun.
