I wish I could be a superhero just like you guys! I love helping people! And imagine how inspiring that would be to some people? A disabled superhero?... But I don’t actually have any powers, and I don’t think I’m quite smart enough to make cool armor like Freeman though. Oh well. It’s a nice thought though!
Hey, don’t put yourself down. I’m sure you’re plenty smart, or at least a good person- and I think that matters more than anything.
Plus, technically, I’m a disabled superhero. I’m missing half an arm- and I’m not the only one. The Jumper is mute, she speaks through sign language. She may not be part of our team, but she’s really cool.
Regardless, though- I don’t think you need to be a hero to help people. The whole point of us is to help people be safe enough to follow whatever dreams they have. If you really wanna be a hero, but you don’t think it’s feasible to fight villains or gain powers or anything crazy like that- just do what good you can. That’s what heroism has always been, even before superpowers became a thing. That’s what it still is now.
