This year has been well… something

I ended up losing a lot but at the same time found parts of myself I thought were gone. I ended up gaining some of the confidence I had when I was little. Enough confidence to make new friends, reunite with old ones, show my creativity, and ramble about my interest or theories. It’s not perfect, social anxiety and rejection dysphoria still have a hold on me but I’m not so terrified that I don’t do anything. And I can’t help but thank the fandom and the friends I’ve made here for helping me realize I don’t need to repair the metaphorical mask I’ve been wearing for years after it broke just to be accepted by others.

So thank you to everyone in the fandom, my mutuals, and my friends for all the kindness and confidence you’ve given me to help me how to me myself again.
