Hello! I'm sorry about the delayed response, I missed your comment on the post while I was away.I was in Germany, yes, but also France and The Netherlands had some serious wasp action going on (I had one land on me for quite a while in Berlin and I as very proud that I managed to stay so calm!). I have to say that other times I've travelled around Europe I've never noticed or seen so many, though I think I've usually been in the more Southern countries (Italy/Slovenia/Croatia) in September so maybe they stick further North!

Ugh, false promises and a messy opposition have been the main problem in Italy too since… well, forever basically. How long will Abbott’s mandate last? Hopefully people will think twice at the next elections… I hope they’ll be soon enough!

Unfortunately we have another 2 years, unless they get impeached or removed (which if they go against High Court orders with Asylum Seeker stuff or fail to get the budget passed could happen, though it's very unlikely). But they are currently not doing well in the polls at all. And that's against an opposition Government that don't really seem to be doing anything, so that just shows that people are not happy! 

And oh yes, I remember reading about some of the stuff going on in Italian politics not long ago!

I love that you are interested and curious about it, thank you for engaging with me in it. As I said in my original post, I very rarely post political stuff but I just needed an outlet!

I receive phone calls/texts from friends (only those really close) I was thinking about too… but something big like tonight’s event is certainly a weird coincidence, and it’d creep me out too! Think of it as just a coincidence! Or… a hunch?

Yes, I am just thinking of it like that, but it definitely feels like it was a bit different...I generally listen to my instincts so this is a nice reminder to do that I guess! Not that it was really instinct...I dunno it just confuses me so I'll stop over thinking it!
