i feel a little silly, but, with how the election results are looking right now, i need everyone to remember to not give into doomer-ism. you are not alone, we as a whole are not alone. there is community, from local fridays for future groups to Omas gegen Rechts [grandmas against the right] to queer movements. reach out to them, go to their meetings, connect, find support-systems. reach out to those rallying behind refugees and migrants, support them, show up for them. we are not alone. we are in this together.

Dude I severely regret not buying a bottle of jack and a six pack of cokes for tonight. My nerves are completely shot. There's this one dude, he's like some kind of historian I believe, who's accurately called the election for like, the past nine elections I believe, and he's called for Kamala. That's the only thing keeping me from outright panicking.

Fun fact, the first time I got properly drunk was the 2016 election. I have hope for this election but I also know it could go any way.

So, I had to go to NY this morning, and I was so confused by what I saw.

I was confused with seeing that numerous businesses were boarding up their stores. I actually had to ask someone and they said, "Election day is tomorrow, and I'm expecting riots and violence."

I was like wow. 😳

This is insane. Are businesses in your area doing this as well?
