It's just one vote, they say. But is it really? Through that ONE vote, you represent the children who are forced to work and sell on the streets just to buy at least a bit of a food for the day. The homeless who breathes the smoke of the belching vehicles unto their heaving lungs. The fathers and mothers who suffer the silent violence of the traffic in order for them to just get home to their kids. The unemployed and underemployed who, no matter the degree they finished, are exhausted of going in and out of interviews only to find out they're not hired. The people in the most rural areas who walk miles just to get to their destinations. The indigenous people who keep on fighting for their ancestral lands. The employees who give their best to do their job but still receives only half of their salaries because of the tax that only corrupt politicians are benefitting from. The victims of injustice who still have heavy and angered hearts because even after years, justice is still not served. The uneducated who may have the cure of cancer or the brightest inventions in their minds but are left with no choice but to stay in their houses. The OFWs who sacrifice the time they may have spent together with their families just for the money they think could improve their state of living. The students who study and work at the same time to graduate only to find out there are no enough jobs available for them. The children who are abandoned by their parents because of too much poverty. The nation hungry for change but people of closed minds who don't even realize that the change they're seeking can only be found in themselves. And more. One vote, it is. But this vote you cast has a great impact on the future of this country. And whether you believe it or not, this vote of yours will be reflected on the lives that our generation and the future generations will live. Mabuhay, Pilipinas! May God bless this nation. #PHVote #Halalan2016 #ElectionDay2015 #Eleksyon2016 #PiliPinas #voteph2016 #BumotoAko (at Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines)
