Holy goat, this is dank as fuck. Dig those fat wah-infused bass notes that open up the latest single from bad-ass Mexico City crew ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN.
"Morning Grace" bends and twists like a musical saw, jutting out with the confident swagger of someone who's feeling a mighty buzz from a cold brew on a hot summer's day. It's been a while since I've heard a bass swing this groovy. Its excellence is answered by acid-soaked guitar licks and the tireless drive of the drumming. Electric Mountain's sound is supreme.
Keep your eyes peeled for the band's sophomore LP, 'Valley Giant' (2022), which is due out digitally and on vinyl May 27th via Electric Valley Records, with pre-orders starting April 6th. Ideal for a playlist with Sleep, Bongzilla, Church of Misery, and Hebi Katana.

SOME BUZZ
Electric Mountain is a heavy rock band from Mexico City, formed in 2013 and influenced by '70s rock and '90s desert/stoner rock. Conformed by guitarist/vocalist Gibran Pérez, drummer Max Cabrera and bassist Jorge Trejo, the power trio is notorious for being a very loud and energetic live act. A concoction of fuzzy guitars, thunderous drums, and a thick dirty bass is what they churn out. They have shared the stage with bands like Elder and Blackwater Holylight, amongst several other bands.

In 2017, they released their first self-titled album, released on CD by LSDR and on vinyl by Electric Valley Records. After a two-year hiatus, Electric Mountain is back with their second album, 'Valley Giant' (2022) with a more mature and intricate sound, signed with Electric Valley Records. The band is determined to take over every stage they set foot on.
