He finally came out of his lab, on his own, he actually did it, amazing.

But he was paler than normal and he had backs under his eyes and he was hunched over.

"It's been a few hours." more like a few days. "Better check on my younger brother." he knocked and entered Jazz's room.

"Bro? are you okay in there? It's been a few hours do you want anything?"

Jazz groans, rolling over. "No progress? Ugh, looks like I'm missing school tomorrow, too."

Rock yawned.

"Seems that way, even at night I can't figure out what's going on, I think I may need Fathers help but he's away, out of all time..." he muttered what seemed to be curses under his breath.

"I'll inform the school tomorrow, I'll be up...Yes."

He yawned again.

"I’m dying."

Suprise came to Rocks eyes.

"You're...screwing with me aren't you?...you are...you wouldn't..."

{ ✰ } — Now would be a good time to call, wouldn't it? Scrap of paper in his hand, Alto taps in the numbers scrawled and hits send. C'mon, kid. Pick up. This is important.

Rock's head felt heavy, he was injured in a battle and Jazz had brought him home.

He opened his eyes, they seemed heavy.

"What...What went on?" he asked, all he could remember was battling, did he lose?

"Ngh....my head...can't move." he tried, but all he could move was his head, oh man, everything felt heavy now.

A soft snicker escapes Alto, and he rumples his hair with his free hand. 

"Hey, kid. What's up?"
