poor drifter!wist is very sunshiny wants to be friends with everybody like the wholesome chaos bean she is but hasn't been faced with a kind universe lately (I rolled for her luck and she got like a flat 1 so apocalypse it is lmao). so phaze and faera are nice to her and she's that one crying cat meme like Oh I Am nOet WeLL
*I look startled, for a moment, but it's not for a bad reason; just... he seems to be kind for no reason other than he wants to be, just like his husband, and I'm filled with an odd kind of aching.
I see none of the shrill suspicion I've been met with constantly, as of late, and it makes me pause, then give him a slow, gentle smile that seems a touch more real then the slightly nervous ones I had arrived with. my eyes are bright with curiosity, and as I speak I give them both a very soft, questioning little poke with my magic, just to feel them out. it is warm and friendly, if still a a little cautious.*
good to meet you, faera! your art is wonderful, and lovely to see after a long stretch of time bereft of this kind of beauty.
my name is wist, short for wisteria! I am a little hungry, but I have my own rations- this bag fits far more than it appears to, so don't worry. yes, I do have a similar enough currency, and it will likely be enough to get by for any essentials I can't forage for a few months. besides, I'm good at camping, heh. it will be fun to see if this universe has different kinds of stars!
I'd love to keep looking at the art if I'm allowed to!

*faera gives phaze a small glance that you're not quite quick enough to read. when faera looks back at you, he's smiling again.*
Faera: Of course, it's a public art gallery!
Phaze: If you need any tips for safe spots to camp out, you can ask before you leave. Or now, if you'd like, but... There's more art to appreciate, yeah?
Faera: Right!!
*as the three of you come up to a new statue, you notice someone standing by it, staring up at the weird statue thoughtfully. they seems fascinated by it.*
*they're a relatively short skeleton monster, closer to your height. from this angle, they have... ectoplasmic? magic coming out of a thin crack in their skull, forming magical pseudo-hair. it's light blue on the outer layer and neon green on the inner layer. it's pretty cool, but you wonder how it formed... must've been a nasty head trauma to do all that.*
*faera walks directly up to the person, stopping just behind them.*
Faera: How goes the viewing, son?
*the skeleton turns around, somewhat startled. small sparks zip around from their hands, then settle down as they see Faera and Phaze.*
???: dad, come on. you should know better than to scare me like that.
Faera: Sorry, Electrodendra... But we've got a visitor from another universe!
*his eyesockets widen, eyelights fully revealed. they're yellow and diamond-shaped, and you notice that his eyesockets aren't actually hollow: midnight-blue magic fills the crevices of their eyesockets, much like a robot made to have a face... you're not sure why you get that impression, but regardless, you do.*
Phaze: She teleported right here, into this gallery.
Electrodendra: ...oh, really? that's cool...
*their eyelights quickly glance over your outfit, noticing the meal bar you've been eating.*
Electrodendra: rough previous universe, huh?
