Someone asked about lanyard stims, and I realized that mine is very stimmy. Aside from my bus pass and key, I have (counter-clockwise, from 9 o'clock)
1. A little screen cleaner that came with the lanyard. It doesn’t work very well, but it’s soft on one side. (Bonus points for special interest)
2. Peach scented hand sanitizer (I got it from the student store at my school and you can hardly smell the alcohol. Also useful for cleaning hands and nasty graffiti
3. A Lego guy on a keychain (Bonus points for special interest)
4. A pill container from the local children’s hospital. It snaps back and forth if you push on the blue part (don’t stim with it if you have medicine in it though)
5. A bag that came with my sunglasses. It’s soft, and I put my gloves in it. Good for swinging, but gets tangled on everything else
6. Paracord keychain with compass. Very solid for squeezing. Also handy for knowing what direction you’re going.
7. Attached to the paracord keychain is a usb key. The case is built in and you push down on it to reveal the stick, and it makes a very nice click. You push down again, getting another click.
8. Infinite Bubble Pop keychain. It makes a random noise every 100 pops, but otherwise just makes a popping sound
9. Money capsule. Good for emergency cash, but you can also twist it up and down. Not recommended if there’s actual money in there
10. The keychain itself has a breakaway clasp that you can stim with (Bonus points for special interest)
11. Pepper spray. Useful, and you can click the safety.

@your-alien-friend, who asked about stim toys attached to lanyards! Here’s many other stimmy things, many in the realm of things you find around the house or in dollar shops, that you might wish to consider. Thank you so much, @werevampiwolf!
Here’s the Electronic Bubble Wrap tag.
I’m also linking a tutorial for cobra-stitched paracord bracelets and zip pulls: I used this to learn to make them myself. You can get cheap packets with pre-cut paracord and clasps in many dollar shops here in Australia, so I assume the same applies elsewhere.
