Experienced R&D Physicist
Our client is seeking an experienced research and development physicist for a leading role in shaping the future performance of ground-breaking digital printing technology. Working as part of the close-knit R&D team, the position requires high levels of innovation, curiosity and experimental and analytical skill.
The successful candidate will have: . EU citizenship . A 1st or 2:1 degree in Physics or a related discipline from a university with an excellent reputation in your subject. A PhD would be an advantage . At least 3 years experience in a scientific, R&D or product development role . A solid understanding of at least two of the following: electrostatics, electrophoretics, colloids, inkjet printing . You will be a hands-on experimentalist with good analytical skills . Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward manner and to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels . Proactive and self-motivated with ability to work effectively in teams in a focussed industrial research environment
You will be capable of planning, progressing and delivering work of a high standard and be highly motivated and resourceful. Capability in designing experiments would be an advantage, as would experience working collaboratively with outside companies or university research groups.
