How far would one go to save the other(s)?
Both of them are fully-acculturated Jedi, and intelligent self-sacrifice is a very basic part of the job description. Eventually, Quellian more-or-less does take this to its logical extreme. Des reciprocates the "saving" in terms of traditional memorial observances, in continuing to take an active interest in Aur's welfare and happiness, et cetera.

I'd be unsurprised if the conversation turns to Des talking about oddly-personal weird stuff that comes up in the course of trying to Jedi, embarrassed, but not quite enough to keep a lid on it. Quellian who has been there and done that, is likely to have things to say about skillfully navigating all of that.
Any forms of friendly competition? Who wins? (Who’s best at Smash Bros?)
Fencing practice is a go-to, and they've trained in and are handiest at different styles, so figuring out the optimal way for those to intersect is one. Witty comebacks is probably another, thought their different senses of humor leave some doubt as to who's making more progress on that. I wouldn't be surprised if in-universe versions of RTS games like Total War or Civilization are something they're both into. Des is Tiny Sun Tzu, where as Quellian's likely more focused on the non-specifically martial strategizing
