thats a classic haha, i guess if it happened really a lot then you were at least getting the hang of predicting where the ball would be you just... hadnt quite yet gotten to adjusting your swing so it’d hit right?

the tag line of the show is the same lyric line, and the theme is all about like how when life gets you down or frustrating you want to be around people who care. might be a shout out, or just random chance.

autoclave came later so yeah probably a shout-out, esp bc its more throwaway line. anyway: a good combination of words.
