I feel like I made this post already but greenroom chat has me thinking about it: it's fun to me that even if/when Hector transitions (whether that's via fantasia or via whatever methods S9 has available) she distinctly Will Not look exactly like Elektra; Elektra is very much her own creation and her own person. They wouldn't even resemble each other all that much outside of like, coloring.

I have DECIDED on how to work Elektra into First AU. She is a fae creature of some description who latches onto Hector when one of Frannie's hunts sends him into Il Mheg.

16: Is there any memes or running jokes associated with the character, both in- and out of universe?

There very quickly becomes a running gag that Hector can no longer lie while Elektra's around - she does the same thing Red does to Blue, in that she's always quick to "correct" him or question what he means when he's deliberately avoiding saying something. At first this is entirely accidental, as she's learning about subtext and sarcasm and lying to get out of things, but eventually. Eventually, she absolutely starts doing it on purpose.

There's also the running "joke" of Aimo always always always finding Elektra's mildly horrifying shapeshifting to be the coolest shit ever oh my god.

My own personal running joke is how often I forget to switch Elektra back to a combat job from a DoH and wind up getting one-shot by something because Elektra decided to bring a frying pan to a monster fight (it's more often than it. should be.).

Also endless, endless jokes about death and coming back from the dead and living dead girls, etc. etc.

I do appreciate (thanks, past me!) that apparently I had the "she's Hector's soul fused with the feral souls he used" idea just, from the beginning. I thought that was new, but nope, just had that in my back pocket without realizing it apparently
