"Water element - card"
Presenting another of my element-based characters - Water! Most of the painting is done by metallic markers which was hell to work with since they can completely cover your ink lineart *sigh* plus the editing kinda kicked my ass because the paper was super crumpled *SIGH*. But it's finally done :)
Character description (basic): Name: Water Element: water Gender: female Nature: - mind: hot - body: cold Appearence: - water creatures (both salt and freshwater, both animals and plants) such as fish (predatory ones), sharks, kelps and other algae - can appear as ordinary nature features, such as rain or snow - hominid appearence: - colours of blue and turquoise - typical fish features (webbed feet, gills, sometimes fins) - very simple clothing, nothing too ornamental or shiny - huge blue diamond on her chest as a necklace (it's the heart of ocean ;) (the gem never changes while the physical form of the bearer is changed), the light will shine until the end of her days Powers: - controls the water flow (rivers, sea currents) - can control weather depending on her mood (storm when raging, snow when cold), however that's not her ordinary power (or shouldn't be) - very moody, playful, unstable - symbol of chaos, uncertainty, unexpected challenges, povider of general life (can stabilize dying or freshly born organisms, however she's not a symbol of fertility)

I will only say one thing
The only one out of all the elements to give you a clear cut mirror image of your own reflection in its natural state is water.
I’m confused how nobody wants to talk about the dynamic of reflection and projection of the element water and the water signs.
I also believe that's why talking about water signs is ironically enough always so very emotionally charged, lol. Rarely do I see people talk relatively neutral/descriptive about it, because I think people project a lot in a very negative way. Especially when peoples understanding of water signs only boils down to their own personal experience with them. But I feel like misunderstanding or having troubles working with water sign energy is very given living in a society that doesn't care for the value and purpose of emotions in the right, healthy way (socialization, my beloved boogy man <3). And this includes everyone ofc. All the elements and signs, even water signs themselves.
Blessed Full Flower Moon!
Tonight on the 5th of may we celebrate the full flower moon. 🌕🌺
The full moon will be in the water sign scorpio and is also influenced by the planet Pluto going retrograde. This is a time of transformation and intuition and inner wisdom.
One night later on may 6th/Mounykhion 16th in hellenic polytheism we also celebrate the festival of Mounykhia, a day on which to honor the goddess Artemis and her connection to the moon and role as a moon goddess.
Two days ago I started preparing by researching the full flower moon and Pluto going retrograde and I chose which oracle cards would fit nicely with this full moon to put on the altar to Nyx, especially since the full moon would happen during the evening and night time. Yesterday before leaving my apartment I re-organized my altar, brought an offer and put up the altar cards, one to show of my gratefulness to Nyx, the gods and the moon because I received a lot of signs, consultation, guidance, strength, positivity, happiness and luck since the last full moon so this full moon it was extra important for me to show that gratitude. The rest of the cards were to really tap into the specific themes and energies of this full moon and to manifest good upcoming things for this month and the near future. I also put up the oracle card representing the element water since the full moon will be in scorpio, a water sign.
I spend the day of the full moon by wearing a shirt with the moon on it that says "tonight is the night", and went to buy cake with my mom to celebrate. Mom actually came to get me to go outside and watch the full moon, but at that time the moon was still rising. So later in the night we went outside again to watch her shine really bright and beautifully. We stood outside for a while looking at the moon and focusing on the silence of the night and the beauty of the moon and her light. During the night I also listened to my devotional playlist and watched an interview with my favorite band and they actually also mentioned that it's the full moon today and that we should do a little ritual ;)
Blessed be!

#82 Elements: Water
GRIMOIRE // BOOK OF SHADOWS TIPS:
Dedicate one page to your pendulum. Write yes/no/maybe/idk at the 4 corner of the page. Use it for quick divination!
Removibile moon phases calendar. Must have.
Page of inventory. Write down what you need, what you have, what you'll have soon. Do you need moon water? Look on your calendary when will the next full moon be, and write something on this page. Do you wanna forget it? I dont think so! (Very helpful for forgetful witches like...me)
I don't like white pages. To have that look like "grow old pages" i use coffee! With a brush paint the pages of your bos. It's a long work, i know, but hey! What a look! Tea for a lighter results. (Try it before on paper not that important!)
Instead of coffee, you can use moon water or sun water or crystal water on special pages. You can add essential oil too.
Hope you'll like this!
Have you ever heard a chant called "Earth, Air, Fire, Water Chant"??
If you haven't please listen to it here. Now please, tell me how you felt? Everyone (including myself) have a feeling of have heard this song before.
It sounds so familiar, its like chanting... idk how to explain but my head is saying 'like chanting a family name'... Feels like returning home. Please tell me what you think.
Continued Good Health
Necessary Enchantments and Magickal Tools
The tools necessary for this spell include any tools you have chosen for your formation as described below.
You will need:
element water ----- rainwater that was charged in a storm where there is both lightning and thunder. ( click here for instructions on how to gather element water )
small bowl
Candles You will also need a blue candle, a red candle and a white candle. Set the candles in front of you in a row with the blue to the left, white in the middle, and red to the right.
Formation All spells should begin with casting a circle, which is your shield of protection. If you're using a triangle or square, you can cast a circle first as then cast your formation within it. Best formation to cast this spell is the circle. Cast your formation ( using methods described here ) using a wand, a knife, an extended arm with fingers pointed, salt, or other material items you may have chosen.
Direction to Face The spell is most effective if you are facing north. Arrange your candles as stated above and any tools or enchantments that will be in your formation so they will be in front of you when you are sitting facing north.
Moon Phase This spell will work best if cast during the waxing phase of the Moon because we are hoping to increase good health just as the Moon is increasing as it waxes.
Day of the week This spell can be cast any day of the week.
Optional Magickal Enchantments
The following items will add a deeper dimension to your spell and help you focus yourself more fully, but they are not necessary and the spell can be cast even if you don't have these items available.
Gemstones The best gemstone to use for the spell is clear quartz crystal and amethyst. If using additional gemstones other than those recommended in your formation, placed them in front of you. Incense Incense that will enhance the spell would be lemon balm or thyme. Place incense in a safe place within your formation if you like. However, starting the incense outside of your formation is fine if you want to enjoy the aroma while organizing your spell work.
Music If you like music and will not find it distracting, you might want something New Age, meditative or classical; think soothing and harmonious for balanced health. Whatever you're comfortable with will be best.
Before You Start Your Spell
Make sure you have no distractions. Turn off phones if possible. Play soothing music. Keep the lights dim. Wash your hands or shower before you begin. Light incense if you are using it. Gather everything you need and have it close at hand. Draw your formation. Ask your higher power to allow the information to flow through you.
Affirmation
Affirmation to be read within your formation before you actually begin your spell. I take nothing for granted, especially my health. I have everything when my body, mind and spirit all are in harmony. I am encircled by a healthy and healing aura, My this excellent state of health that I now experience continue. I am appreciative and give thanks to my higher power for focusing this energy to me.
AND SO IT IS.
How to Perform the Spell
Dip your fingers into your element water and touch your chest and say, “My body is sound.“
Dip your fingers back into your element water, touch your forehead, and say, “My mind is stable.“
Lastly, dip your fingers back into your element water, touch the top of your head and say, “My spirit is good.”
Conclude with any statement that signifies closure of the ceremony in your mind such as “And so it is,” “Blessed be,” or “Amen.” Now extinguish your candles and release your formation by visualizing it lifting off the ground, up through the roof, into the sky, and finally into space, where it disappears.
When the ceremony is complete, pour the remaining element water on a plant or outdoors if possible. Do not save the remainder. If you can not throw it outside, gently pour it down the sink, pass your hand over the drain, and say, “Back to the earth.“
