sing sing to the stars sing to the sky and the sun and the moon sing to the wind and the rain and the earth, while you touch them sing when your mind runs hard and tangled, hum heartbeat melodies sing to kitten meowing melodies, to found cat purrs and soft still moments sing good morning, sing good night, to lovelies of your heart sing in stolen moments taken out of structured time,  sing in moments drifting out of place sing out in shadows, dark and true sing soft sing loud sing all around  but steal the moments still to  sing

when there is wind, i dream of flight not of wings of feathers, or of skin, or of wax,  wings like a glider, twice my armspan, solid but light. to take flight, i run, arms outstretched, into the wind,  and i fly, lifted up in force and backwards gusting each landing, another run, another taste of flight and backwards into the abyss another feet hit ground and once again run forward, never ending  until body wears down, collapses full of sky and air and wind and light and though i’m only dreaming of it every time the wind blows i can feel it

You’ve filled over gaps I never knew I had and overflowed my heart with love You’re tiny and you’re only slightly broken But you’re so full of love and shining beauty That I don’t know how it could be overlooked You have no flaws that I can see, Only things that make me love you more

Can't sleep, can't sleep Close your eyes, trick your mind Can't sleep, can't sleep Twist, turn, flutter, flip Can't sleep, can't sleep Pitter patter down the hall Can't sleep, can't sleep Stretch, drink, idle, think. Night watch is being kept, I see One by the rabbit, perched high in her burrow Eyes out, see all Two by the cat, laid low in his nest Ears open, hear all Three by the night-beasts, taking their turns Feet move, touch all My senses are not needed here I watch the watch for but a moment before I turn and go towards the bed Still can't sleep, but peaceful, watched.

rejoice

Hesitant tongue Reached out to find trembling And all too willing lips. Taste taken, Taste returned. Body moves body, makes response And creates heat and luminosity in darkness. Forget for a moment. Live in now and lust. Forget. And enjoy. This moment is for pleasure, only for joy. Make bad decisions in the moment, and really feel. Notice the moonlight as it filters through the branches of the tree above. Be too distracted to care. Touch everything. Don’t miss. Take chances where they are given. Love as brightly and burning as you can, in this moment. Rejoice in life. Rejoice in touch. Rejoice in lust, in love. Use your whole body to capture the moment forever. Know you’ll forget too much. Savour. Enjoy all of this. And for one moment, put the world aside. Be here. Be now. And taste. Rejoice.

wings of light and fluid death bring sweeping fallows, swooping sounds.

a caw, a flutter of wings, follows one through darkness.

to protect to harm or simply to serve self?

all. or none.

fly free. catch wings, take flight from birds and return it not until the day breaks.

and slowly, slowly, drift on stolen feathers back to earth…

embrace

You consume me. We feed off each other, Pain for pain, Passion for passion. You leave me terrified and hungry for your skin, Your loving embrace. Bite. Scratch. Kiss. Whimper. Sigh. And that terrible longing, That screaming emotion without its own true name, Haunts me long after the possibility of you is gone. Need. So much need. It burns. Wanting. So much wanting. It fuels need and longing and love. Touch. Taste. Feel. No words. Only action. And when words come, they are perfect. Pushed boundaries fall away with time and familiarity, never to return. Moments stretch out in perfect endless spirals, and in each one, I live only with and for you. Phantom touches, now, only remind me How very good you are.

Mind unspools. Cast thoughts into the void In hopes of catching Some pitiful chance of expression Or words that are so right While also being oh so very wrong. Let mind seek words. Cherish that feeling That is pure, raw need to make. Hands try and fail to describe the movement of this In sweeping spirals Of thought And Such Pure Need.
