I have those very same specifics. I don’t want to levitate, I don’t want to airbend, I don’t want to be moved by the wind. Wings are the only way to go to ever truly enjoy flying, though I’ve never been able to decide between feathers or a membrane.

Membranes are cool as hell but I think id choose feathers cuz theyre so pretty and I love the way bird wings look when they fold.  Theyre so interesting.
