Root probably would fuck with neopronouns, like her half siblings had a fair few non-typical pronouns (ze/zir, they/ne, etc) and I can see her becoming really connected to like star/starself or something similar to cope with the religious expectations. But for now she's pretty cis-pilled /lh

Welcome Miss Ellisa! It's wonderful to see a fresh new face in the pokemon scene! Give Dusk some love for me, the whole species seems to get regularly abandoned because of the myths surrounding them.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll make sure to do that, Dusk enjoys a good hug. You're absolutely right about myths causing more frequent abandonment, and starting this fall I'll be running a series debunking those harmful myths and stereotypes that coincide with holidays. We take in the most ghost type rescues right after Halloween, so I'll probably talk more about Dusk and other members of the species as we get closer to that time of the year.
