Having no energy sucks...Having no motivation to do anything sucks...for weeks now, and it's starting to get frustrating. I don't know if it's depression, art block, stress...maybe all of the above? I'd love for the universe to just give me a break from feeling like im just existing and surviving, doing the bare minimum. Can I feel literally anything else other than that, please??? Something positive maybe?? So I can go back to doing the things I enjoy?...would be nice...

Is there a possibility of Lakota or Gwen meeting the twos again after they pass, like some kind of reincarnation thing?

Reincarnation is technically possible since in Pokémon, both human and pokemon spirits can turn into ghost types. But I have no plans to do that with them. They may eventually be reunited in the pokemon equivalent of heaven once the twos reach their own time of passing

Sadly yes, sometime in the future. Because in my AU, mewtwos live for over half a millennium, give or take. Gwen, as well as Lakota and the others, will eventually pass away, which the twos live on

Do Gene and Jeo's triplets go "mew!" or do they cry?

Yep, they inherited more of the mew traits, so they cry like baby mittens X3

A thought just occurred to me about Gene and Jeo. Were the triplets a planned event or unexpected in a "Wait shit we're actually compatible/fertile" sorta surprise?

I've talked about Jeo thinking he's infertile because of his spliced dna a few times. Because of that, no, the triplets weren't planned. Up until him and Gene realize why she's experiencing certain symptoms, Jeo believed it wasn’t possible. So when one thing led to another between them, he didn't think anything would come out of it.

They don't have hair to grab lol. Though i can see it happening, maybe to Mew or Lakota if Blu were to grab hold of them XD

But hey, welcome back ^^ Things have been okay, though this month has been rather dry as far as art. Well, on here anyway, my dragon ball blog has been the one getting the most attention lately. Still on hiatus from the m&m story comics. The motivation to do the bigger projects hasn't come back to me yet, so I'm still waiting patiently.

How does pokespeak work in your AU? Do all pokemon just understand each other's language? Or, for example, does a Pikachu and a Eevee who have never interacted with each other's species before need to learn each other's language before they can communicate with each other? If it's the former, then how come humans, with very few exceptions, are unable to understand pokespeak?

It's like a universal language amongst pokemon. I headcanon that it's similar to the atlantean language in Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, referring their language as the "Tower of Babel." Pokemon have their own dialects within certain species, but there's a root dialect that acts as the foundation of the language as a whole, allowing pokemon to understand and communicate with other species.

As for why most humans can't understand, it might be that the pokemon language is just too complex for human minds to wrap around lol. But that's never gotten in the way of trainers like Ash and others understanding their pokemon on deeper emotional levels beyond language. The special few who can understand are perhaps individuals that are more in tune with pokemon than the average person, enough to be considered gifted. Then you have ones like N, who can hear the pokemons' inner voice, and Koko. Both were raised by pokemon for a long period of time as well, which contributed to their ability to communicate with them.

Is Jeo known to speak (in telepathy) and understand any other language besides English and Pokémon language?

He speaks a few other languages. I've written some of his responses in Spanish and Italian when people asked if he could speak/understand them. But he knows a few others aside from English and pokespeak, yes

I'll be honest, when I think of Jeo I always think of him being kind of a no-nonsense, maybe even slightly arrogant kinda guy, so when I see him bein goofy and stuff it gives me some slight mental whiplash

But I know it's just me not properly understanding his character that well

He's a bit of both. Granted, I know my version of his character strays from canon. I love taking creative liberties and making characters go through certain character developments, and I try to write those characters realistically as they go through those developments in terms of their emotions and choices while also trying to stay true to their original character.

Cause yeah, Mewtwo-or Jericho, for the most part, can still be stoic and cold at times, a bit arrogant and bad-tempered, takes no bullshit, much like his canon self. But in this canon divergence, having supportive friends, sisters, and a girlfriend who loves him changed him. Having a daughter changed him. Having a home and a stable lifestyle changed him. All these things over time made him break his defensive walls down and open up, revealing a bit more to his personality that we hadn't seen.

lil question since Hugo has it and I'm genuinely curious, did you ever think about giving Blu heterochromia along with vitiligo? or was it just for Hugo to have that'd be cool artistically?

It was a thought. I had considered making his vitiligo covered eye an icy blue, but i squashed the idea cause i thought it'd be too distracting. Hugo's blue eye is a darker color, so it doesn't stand out as much.

Are triplets the set amount babies Mewtwos can have or is Gene special?

Yeah, up to 3 babbins is the set amount. She's special in the sense that triplets are more uncommon. One or two at a time is considered the average
