I still think that Elementary handled Mrs. Hudson amazing. Instead of making her the house keeper of Sherlock. She is an independent trans woman. She never gets misgendered. Instead Sherlock speaks of her as an ‘fascinating woman’. She is so clever that she helped Sherlock in multiple cases.
And also Joan shows an amazing growth in the episode. While it starts with Joan being: Well, but she is... you know..” It ends with Joan really caring and worrying for Mrs Hudson.
We also see Mrs. Hudson cleaning the place but it is not a thing she has to do but instead she makes it into a kind of science with ordering books in order of plausibility.
All in all, Elementary!Hudson show an amazing mix of queer, independence and cleverness.
I don't know what's funnier... Sherlock repeatedly choosing Watson's clothes for her in the morning, or Joan actually wearing them
Snow Angles is one of my favorite Elementary epsiodes. But I do not know anything about destinations in New York. So I was curious how long it would have taken Sherlock and Joan to go from Harlem to New Jersey.
Sherlock pointed out it would be a “long walk”....
I am fairly sure now that this was an understatment.
I am melting!
