TV show with an obviously neurodivergent, modern-Sherlock Holmes style protagonist, except they have other neurodivergent friends.
“I can't connect with other people. I feel as if there is a wall of glass between me and them. I can solve so many puzzles, but the one puzzle I can't solve is Human Connection.” “Haha, yeah, know what you mean. Hey, you might want to check out these subreddits…”
Protag makes some comment later on like “romantic love is merely a chemical illusion. I myself have only ever had one person who Mattered in that way, and I think that everyone who claims otherwise is lying to themselves.” A friend asks if they've ever explored whether they might be somewhere on the aromantic spectrum.
Protag brings up their incredibly obscure special interest. Everybody is very supportive and says that it sounds cool, especially since it helps them solve crimes. It's so cool when people can use their special interests to help them make a living.
The equally nd villain keeps trying to draw them into some sort of “we are the only ones who Understand each other, how can you stick up for Normal People when you will never be One of Them” shit, and the protagonist is just like “actually, there are a ton of other people I relate to out there. Hey, once I'm done bringing you to justice, you might wanna check out these subreddits…”
