"I don't care which cock I'm holding, I just want to know how it got there. Okay, congratulations. You got me to say it."
"I don't know if you've settled on an epitaph yet, but it does occur to me, that would look fantastic on a tombstone."
"Who's to say what's accurate and what's not?"
"Me. Watson, if you'd like."
SHERLOCK IS TRYING SO HARD TO GET JOAN TO CALL THE ROOSTERS COCKS I'M CRYING
Finally catching up on elementary and Sherlock setting Lestrade’s ringtone as bad day is so hilarious I literally can’t stop laughing.
nairobiwonders replied to your post:seems to me JLM added a little extra gallinaceous...
Yes, he did seem a little cockier than usual ;)
heh. like Watson, I was trying not to go there. ;-) but in all seriousness, that particular bit characterization I noticed struck me as being closer to the focus in observation chickens sometimes display as opposed to strutting their stuff and defending territory. (Thinking now of the chicken-like woman in Postmodern Prometheus...)
seems to me JLM added a little extra gallinaceous flair to Sherlock's usual head bobs, chin juts, and neck craning this week.
