It’s going to give her cause to look at choices she’s made and choices that she has right in front of her: Might she be a more complete person if she weren’t in a partnership with Sherlock Holmes?”

anyway remember when sherlock’s ex, a noted mass-murdering fuckhead, painted a massive, unbelievably creepy portrait of joan and sherlock didn’t give joan a single word of support, didn’t make even a token effort to defend her, had in fact been feeding moriarty sensitive information about joan’s private life, and later he had the portrait brought into their house without her knowledge?

i should just be riding the high of sense8 but ugh elementary i’m still annoyed. like it’s not enough that joan is now left to avenge shinwell or some emotionless facsimile thereof. they can’t rest on that, the gang war, and whatever contrived case of the week shenanigans they are still going to inject into the episode. they can’t let joan and sherlock genuinely deal with what happened, or do actual justice to the first major character to get killed off. no, sherlock needs PLOT. he needs to be distracted and preoccupied and in no position to support joan or talk shit out with her properly.
