Apologies for the late notice, but we (Makokitten and I) will be doing a test run of Google Hangout tonight, Thursday 9/19 at 10:30PM EST. Link to Hangout will go up around that time tonight.

This is mainly to check its viability for Elementary watchalongs, so feel free to pop in and offer your thoughts or hang out as the name implies. :)

I’d be happy to set up a test run - say, this Thursday at 10:30 pm? I’ve just been doing a lot of hangouts lately and they are pretty great. Also, I have a Gmail under a pseudonym and it’s never given me any trouble.

Ok, sounds good. Test runs never hurt. :)

I'll just have my gmail address join Google+ then? That's how I get access to Hangout, right?

Oh, and I can break out my Elementary DVDs if you wanna see some of the bonus materials on it (unless you've already have). xD

True, I’m kinda hesitant about Hangouts because I don’t actually have an account. Never got one because they were initially deactivating all accounts with pseudonyms. But it’s supposed to be better nowadays, as long as the account name resembles real name structure.

But in terms of accessibility, I’m not really sure how it is for everyone else (if they have accounts or not). I’m leaning toward doing the first one on Tinychat (unless I get some overwhelming feedback) and gathering feedback then.

You know, unless other people feel like speaking up beforehand.
