first mtg - updates

okay! so we had our first chat/ brainstorm /story jam and here are some bits and pieces that we were thinkin on:

-primary big problem for our spec season will see joan confronting all the stuff she’s been through, especially w/r/t her relationship with sherlock

-secondary big problem is gonna see us pick up the dropped plot lines w/r/t morland, mycroft, and moriarty. this is gonna look at story themes of family and/or power

-ms hudson as a muse and greek expert will be involved with that secondary big problem, bouncing off “the adventure of the greek interpreter”

-joan developed her own network a la sherlock’s everybody and the irregulars, we’re gonna meet some of them

we're jamming on speculative story ideas for elementary

okay. as promised, we’re gonna do this thing again. for those who weren’t here last time or don’t remember...

WHO: all of us, we’re gonna make what’s called “spec” scripts for a hypothetical season 6 that we would like to see

WHAT: the dream is to write 9 full length episodes with intermediary “minisodes” done in a sort of web series style, and accompanying art and other visuals for our work

WHERE: since we don’t all live in the same city or town, everything will happen online. planning/mtgs will happen via Slack, coordination will happen via GoogleDrive, and script writing will happen with writerduet.com

WHY: I adore the base concept of this show (even though seasons 2-5 were what they were lol)  and I want to take a real swing at script writing, and I love all y’alls and you come up with some fabulous ideas, but mostly, why not 😉

announcement!!

officially making a fresh run at this project. gonna be cleaning up this blog over the next couple weeks - official relaunch on april 2nd

fine print: this is a project by the fans for the fans to tell the stories from this show that have gone ignored/unattended/etc... primarily looking for writers (we’re gonna write some scripts/screenplays) and drawers/artists

update/fyi: got a whopper of some personal news yesterday so im not gonna be able to do this project full force right now, but i think we’ll probably keep doing the story jams every couple weeks. more later <3
