Colette let the rhythm of the music flow through her body as she danced around the club. At the end of the song, she made her way to the bar and ordered another drink from the bartender. nolan stepped outside, completely lost in his own head as per usual. he just needed some air, needed to breathe normal again. he got easily overwhelmed in crowds. it’s not like he didn’t enjoy being out with his friends, didn’t enjoy getting drunk every now and then, because it was one of his favorite things to do. nolan just preferred to be by himself more than anything, so when he swore he heard someone come up behind him, the air caught in his throat. “i just needed a minute.”
