Really working hard on trying to get the story in a better place while working on my other fanfics where I have been developed ideas. When I started the swap AU I realized I never wrote a lot of my ideas down and really wrote as I went, not like with the Band AU where I know where I'm going so it's easier to write for. I'm doing my best to get back on track though with the swap AU. I have the occasional break through and at my new job since I moved I've been able to sit and think about my stories more often because I work overnight where customers don't bother me

(I moved btw at the start of April which is why I was away)

I started streaming too on Twitch https://www.twitch.tv/misty_eyes_ so I've been drawing on there, I started some sketches for the Studio Ghibli art style thing for artists against AI art

While doing the style replication, I do want to try more styles, but I realized a lot of the styles rely on shading, like Arcane, but Wade and Ember are fire and water. Ember can't have really shading and Wade is about water reflection and refraction, but human shading!

Also speaking about Twitch and the image above, I'll be streaming as my Elementsona and not Talia who I usually use to depict myself, since Talia isn't really me and idk it's cringe to pretend she was me. but not I'm MORE cringe because I have an Elemental OC lmao

I also dragged my husband into it lmao their names are Esmé and Sierra Geysir. And I am a fourth wall-breaking creature

All my elemental merchandise was reorganized into boxes based on value. I have a lot of bootleg stuff in the cardboard boxes, then official merch in the totes I also gathered all my cards and Im still missing 8 cards

I'm in a new area and see so much Pixar and Disney shit. I want to make and design crafts for Elemental versions of things because we don't have enough and want to make my dreams a reality.

Into The City (ElementSwapAU) Day 1: Different Ride The Watertown Canal only goes so far before you reach the edge of Air Valley on Current Ave. In order to deliver this package, Talia is going to need to get a different ride

Monarch AU I want them to dance so bad. The Monarch AU is so complicated fitting in a murder mystery with a romance that makes sense while also researching the Monarch system. It'll probably be one of the last ones I work on

It has been some time since I drew furries but since I'm listening to audiobooks for school, I did some doodles for Ember and Wade as cats and dogs. Even did their element swap versions too I don't usually like doing quad legs, but it looked weird with biped legs like I normally draw. Maybe another time

Finished a doodle I did last night for the Office AU. Just testing out ibis paint now I have a pen that reacts to the phone screen better.

I was inspired to draw Ember in a dress I saw at the store yesterday so it was perfect for Office!Ember. Then I had to draw Office!Wade too. Love soft boi

Also some other doodles I did on my phone don't think I shared here. I love the designs for the Swap AU high school era. And then I looooove Band!Ember just as much as Band!Wade. Doodled her in some Mainstream merch.

Day 11 - Stargazing 🔥You know, stars are just big balls of fire 💧Well, I think they're really pretty

Day 12 - Disguises The Ripple family provided staff for the party at the Inferno estate. Wade didn't attend this time.

Day 13 - Joyride Coal didn't know what he was getting himself into once Talia left the canals into the open water.

Day 14 - Arts and Crafts Every holiday, different departments are charge of decorating the office. Ember has a new intern to help her this Halloween, but he's a little clumsy. Wade had glitter in his water until Christmas.

Day 15 - Pins and Needles 🔥"Wade. She hasn't even started yet." Ember's tattoo requires a lot of maintenance to stay as bright and rich

Day 16 - Harvest Festival Ember convinced Wade to go out into the village to go to the Harvest Festival. She said they could get some clues from the locals about Inferno. Not because she wanted to eat festival foods.

Day 17 - Window Talia is tired from the Watertown reconstruction after the fire. She was supposed to go on a date with Coal but she fell asleep on the train

Day 18 - Gift Basket Ember got promoted. Wade wanted to congratulate her

Day 19 - Midnight Stroll Ember and Wade walked down the beach. There is not much to do this late at night, but Wade doesn't care where they go, as long as he's with her.

Day 20 - Blood It's not mine. Call the dry cleaner, this is gonna be a pain to get out of my white chainmail.

My first AU and one I've actually posted on ao3 already is the Element Swap!AU

It was the start of my AU brain rot. It started because I wanted to make an Element Swap!AU where Talia and Coal still acted like Ember and Wade in the movie. I also reversed the roles of fire and water elements in the world. The fire elements started Element City instead of water, and water is discriminated against. Though I admit it's a stretch to make, it's mostly because of the laws surrounding water usage because of the fire people's fears. Earth people don't want to disrupt their sort of allegiance to the fire people because they help them mine and refine ores to make things. The air people like in the movie don't have a preference. Though there are tensions between them all of course.

I'm still deciding how to move the story forward so I haven't updated it in a while. I also got distracted by my other AUs that are relatively less intimidating to make because I really want to stay true to the movie but also make it different enough that it's actually interesting to read.

Day 21 - Crystal Ball Wade was at his wit's end, Ember told him in the past to talk to her mother. Today he was going to give in and visit the famed fire gypsy of Firetown.

Day 22 - Jacket It's cold outside after the company dinner. Wade gives Ember his jacket and tells her to just return it after the weekend.

Day 23 - Firesparklers You know, you're the spark to my fire

Day 24 - Embrace Let's stay like this for a little

Day 25 - Gathering The Lumen Family organizes dinners often to keep their members close

Day 26 - Scary Movie Coal is not very brave but he doesn't want to tell Talia he's scared of the movie. Talia knows he is.

Day 27 - Burnt Ember initially doesn't like Wade because he's very clumsy. She exploded at him at least once or twice when he started, burning things in her wake, but Wade is a little too understanding.

Day 28 - Hiding Wade grabbed Ember and pulled her back into the shadows. He didn't say anything, but Ember bit her tongue avoiding yelling at him for not warning her

Day 29 - Rivalry We would've made it on time if you weren't high out of your god dam mind, Angel!

Day 30 - Chained This isn't a game you can just stop playing, Wade. This is my life. This is my family's way of life. I can't just run away to a far away city and put this all behind me.
