A sharply worded letter
It had been nearly a decade since Tanner had received any kind of threat, or been alerted to danger surrounding himself personally. He was very cautious about his whereabouts, and his general personal security. Or so he believed.
It had been a warm afternoon when a courier delivered a hand written letter to him at Whitehall. It was slightly less alarming that it came here, there were at least security measures that could be taken to make sure it was safe to open.

There was a time, and location for meeting. Part of him didn't want to go, to just ignore it. But a voice in the back of his mind convinced him to find himself on the bench in front of the duck pond at St. James park at the mentioned time.
