did they ever catch/kill the people that shot Elena? or would they still be out there three years later? Yes, they are most definitely dead. Tony Moretti (along with whoever else) went out and brutally murdered all of them.

Okay, so Alek really hasn't been around much since her accident, tbh. I feel like it was shortly after that that Tony got appointed to Vegas and Alek went w/ him and yeah. That being said, I feel like Alek will still be able to pick up on Elena struggling w/ things?? Like Alek legit has a sixth sense and it's knowing what's going on with the Morettis (especially Alfonso, Tony, & Elena tbh) ans basically he actually lives for no other reason than to serve them/keep them safe and basically his life motto is to do what's best for the Moretti Family, whatever that might be in his mind. 

Anyway, even though he hasn't really seen her much over the past few years, I feel like there's still a lot of trust there, since Alek has been working for the Morettis pretty much for Elena's entire life and is kinda this weird extension of the family, haha??

Basically feels EXACTLY LIKE ELENA. After being shot, she was filled with doubt about whether or not actually going into the family business was right for her if she couldn't even keep herself from getting hurt when she's trying to help.

But as time goes on, she realizes that life is far too short to spend it trying to find something, ANYTHING that would keep her 'safe' when she's so dedicated to the life of the mafia.

She's not too proud to step away when something's wrong, despite what some of the Family might say. It's just that Elena knows that she can do this if given the chance.

And oh man, Elena kinda.... hates that she invokes that sort of feeling in her brothers? Like she gets that Tony feels responsible or whatever, but she also hates that she is being coddled almost even MORE than she was before. (tho, tbqh, it's probably for the best. she's still like SUPER JUMPY and gets all kinds of shaky around guns and mafia men.)

She just really wants to prove that she's better than being behind the scenes, better than just being the trophy wife for whatever new kid on the block her daddy decides is "good enough" for her. Elena likes what they do, dreams of hiding in shadows and getting blood on her hands, but still wakes up screaming when she does.

HAHAHA OMG that gifset and those tags. Cue papa Moretti being all, "You can only go to the movies if you let Alek creep in the shadows." ;D

And Elena going: "UGH, but DAAAADDD!!!!! DDD:" Even tho lbh, Elena sometimes thinks of Alek as more of a dad than Papa Moretti. Just because like I said, I think Alek is sometimes more ~around than her actual father? idek, man. I have a lot of Elena Moretti feelings. Esp. regarding ~family/Family things and being the baby and being SUPER RESENTFUL OF THAT.

Elena Moretti (19) crystal reed relationships: Alfonso Moretti (father), Sonny Moretti, Tony Moretti, Mike Moretti (brothers), Franco Moretti (uncle)

Elena is Alfonso's youngest child. 

Having a traditional father, she was never intended to be a part of the Family, in the same way as her brothers. 

This never sat well with Elena, who always wanted to prove herself just as capable, especially since she felt her father and three older brothers are so protective over her

She would much rather learn to shoot a gun than to cook in the kitchen with her mother (which she's never had any natural talent for. Her family always knows when she's been in the kitchen.)

When she was sixteen, she followed secretly followed Tony when he went out on a job. He was going after some guys who had tried to assassinate their father. They were amateurs who never had a chance of succeeding, but they still needed to be made an example of. 

Things went south quickly when Tony was outnumbered and the men were prepared for him. 

Elena ended up getting shot when she tried to help, which.distracted Tony and the two men and their associates got away

And while they have since all been killed, Elena still silently suffers from PTSD, but she'll never admit to anyone that being shot still bothers here, even though she has recovered physically.

She no longer expresses the same interest to join the Family Business, but she is unsure what she does what to do.

She just knows she doesn't want to end up a housewife like her mother.

She hoped that college would help but so far it just has let her know more things she doesn't want to do.

Her family is even more protective over her now and she has a bodyguard who follows her everywhere.
