Failure was something Klara never took lightly and right now she felt as if she had failed two of her siblings. Being an expert in poisoning, knowing its affects and how deadly it could be, she was frustrated in herself for not noticing the food had been contaminated with. Anger was growing inside her as she sat at the foot of her sisters hospital, listening to the incessant beeping of the monitors. She had failed Elena. Taking a sip of her coffee, she turned her attention to the window, trying to calm the anger that was swirling in her stomach. People rushed in and out of the hospital, reporters were camped outside hoping to get a scoop on what had happened. Everyone seemed so minuscule and unimportant, as the continued with their lives unaffected emotionally by the nights events. Two of the most important people in Klara’s life, where laying in god awful hospital gowns, hooked up to machines and under constant vigilance from medical professionals. Once Elena and Isaak were away from the hospital she was going to find the individual responsible and make their life a living hell.
