lady grey, green tea, oolong :)
lady grey: favorite outfit?
I wanted to take a picture like you did but basically all my clothes are in the laundry. I think my favorite is my dress that is black with a pink/blue/green floral pattern. I like to wear it with tights and lace up boots and my leather jacket. And lipstick. I also like sweaters a lot though. AND my jumpsuit. Which is also black and floral. Basically all the floral things.green tea: where do you feel most at peace?
Hm, you know, I don’t know anymore. I would have said Wisconsin, my family has a cabin on a lake, sitting on the dock when it’s all calm like glass. It’s quite peaceful there but I’m not sure I really felt that peaceful when I was there this summer.
With my old roommates, sitting on each other’s beds and debriefing our day. Or on our deck reading our bibles together.I go to coffeeshops when I feel distressed generally and sip fancy coffee drinks. Mochas usually. Sometimes I feel better.MY MENNONITE FRIENDS’ HOUSES I usually feel quite peaceful at. They are so kind and hospitable and their mothers are always like COME IN EAT THIS CAKE I JUST MADE FROM SCRATCH. And trees and stars and bonfires. It’s lovely.oolong: what are you hoping to be doing in ten years?
Writing things, loving people. Not sure on the specifics. It used to be that all I wanted to do was write books and become a famous author. Currently I feel like what I really want to do is end child marriage. I think I want to use the storytelling abilities I have to raise awareness about issues people don’t know a lot about and give a voice to people who aren’t being heard. Particularly girls. I wrote an article on human trafficking last semester that broke my heart. So basically I want to be CHANGING THE WORLD in ten years. Or, you know, doing meaningful things.
These all seem like kind of unnecessarily long answers, but THERE YOU GO.
