BIOGRAPHY:
Elena grew up in the foster system, never knowing where she came from. This affected her for many years as she felt she couldn’t possibly know who she was but she eventually came to terms with the never knowing.
She was never adopted and instead got herself a job as a waitress and saved and saved so she could go to college and achieve her dream of becoming a teacher.
One of her students in her first big teaching job became obsessed with Elena. He would leave gifts on her desk, take pictures of her from across the classroom, show up wherever she was in school. At school it was easy to excuse these things and chalk it up to coincidence. When it escalated and he broke into her house, however, she couldn’t ignore it any longer.
Elena actually fled town. She’d gotten the cops involved but they really hadn’t seemed to take it seriously at all and she genuinely did fear this boy.
She found herself in Sandpoint and is hoping to restart her life and hopefully find joy in teaching again.
