She spent the day with him chatting about, well, everything that came to their minds. They were in the shade, of course, for his own safety. But when the sun went down, they found themselves near Sings’ forge, continuing their conversation with the sound of metal being hammered.

“So you really made these?” Asked the Altmer as she without warning took his glasses, putting them on herself. “Err…Yes.” Answered Pilpen, “Can I have them b-“

“Why is my vision suddenly wonky?” Elennia interrupted, trying to walk around the forge with them on. She let out a yelp as she walked head first into a wooden post. Without thinking, Pilpen moved over to make sure she was alright. The Altmer would feel arms wrapped around her from behind, and her hands placed right on top of his.

“Are you alright?” He was quick to ask. 

“Yeah. Sorry about that. Here’s your glasses back.” She removes them to check for damage, which fortunately was none. Elennia was about to return them when she realized Sings stopped working for a minute.

He was staring right at them, giving them a raised brow ridge. It was then the two realized the position they were in and quickly pulled away. Pilpen managed to get his glasses back before the two simultaneously said:

“IT’S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE!”
