Hold On!

Back to animal artwork and one of my favourite subjects - elephants. This time a little bit more playful with the subject matter inspired by watching the elephants at a local sanctuary. Love doing all the wrinkles on their skin and I had a good time with all that grass for the background. A fellow artist still doesn’t get why I love drawing grass so much but it’s just so relaxing :)

Bath Time

Another elephant done for Mum’s collection. She loves elephants and her home was full of elephant related pictures, figures and knick-knacks. We often joked that one day it would rival my sci-fi collection :) Wonderful project to do and as much as Mum loved elephants, I loved drawing them for her.

Keep It Together

Another elephant-tastic project for Susie. Yeah, they’ve made it into my list of favourite animals to draw! All those wrinkles in their skin are such fun! This time it was a larger herd so I could play around with pachyderms of various sizes and have a little fun with perspective.
