RSA oc boy - broader perspective ~Eleu Neart~

as stated in his bio, he is a kaiju subspeices of beastman, specifically a deer - a prey animal (those abnormally large unknown kind of deer from kongs skull island, if you need help visualizing a point of comparison). a species that is somewhat plentiful, primarily in warmer regions of the world and mostly in either vast forested areas or on islands. their a lot larger then what a normal deer is, abnormally so, due to their genetic kaiju connections.

due to the places they live in being rather dangerous, they have grown many resistances/immunities and adaptations. being able to eat plants/fruits that are sickeningly toxic or downright deadly to other races. thought his has made him the target of many Sneewittchen (snow white dorm) students for testing the potency of different ingredients used in commonly sold/made poisons. he complies a lot of the time, only in order to not be rude.. but is actually quite happy he can be somewhat useful. though that boy Neige seems intent on using him as a personal taste tester - which he rejects. no matter how good the money could be, he knows Neige is very popular and he doesn't wanna make himself an unnecessary target by associating too closely with him. he doesn't really like public attention. Neige doesn't give up easily when he wants something, him being used to instantly getting things when he asks and isn't used to his requests being turned down, though.. so Eleu hasn't been able to get him to leave him alone.

naturally, due to his deer heritage, he is a vegetarian. and gets veery ill if he consumes any kind of meat/meat based dishes. a little is just disgusting to him, while a bit more then that can make him very sick.

due to his species, he was raised to be cautious and is always looking over his shoulder. he was constantly bullied by kids from neighboring towns while growing up, mainly by predator beastman, due to his skittishness and weak physical/magic skills. but he always found solace in his own home town - everyone there was like him. his hometown was, and still is, a safe space for him. and he misses it deer-ly (pun intended) while attending RSA.

his family is always sending him different care packages, mainly of the nature fruits and handmade clothes, which he treasures and is rather protective over. if he see's you as a friend, he will give you one of the fruits :) it's how he shows he can trust you, by sharing things with you that he cares about. considering how his dorm works when it comes to protecting what you like/own, him sharing things with you would be a high honor. he'd also use his magic to keep tabs on you, just to make sure your ok!

he doesn't like to see others upset or in danger.. and despite his many fears, will do his best to assist those in need - mainly from the sidelines with battles and in more emotional ways with other situations. he prefers avoiding conflict, but if he needs too engage that way he will still choose to 'talking' things out instead of fighting. fighting is a veery last resort.

his home town is located deep inside of a large forest located in the shaftlands - a forest of abnormally gigantic trees of unknown types (seemingly mixtures of spruce, willow, and redwood. but no official classifications have been made) and overgrown - mainly aggressive - flora, that borders on the ocean. facing towards the archipelago of the land of dawning - where his family was originally from, but had migrated away from many generations ago, due to .. certain conflicts with the ruling military family of those islands. his familys' patriarch didn't approve of being oppressed due to their prey beastman status. they used most of their life savings, due to being poor, to buy a boat so they can sail off to new horizons. using whatever money they had left to set up a small community in that forest, later merging with another community of other prey beastman who lived their prior.

they rule over the community, but they are far from nobles or royalty, as they prefer to put themselves on the same level as others. having a strong dislike for those who elevate themselves above others, especially for trivial reasons. the town is divided into a few different clans, who all work together in harmony for the sake of survival, in this rural area.

his family is still put apart from the others though, due to them having sapphire-blue tattoos wrapped around their arms and along their collarbones to show their the ones in charge, while the others have golden-yellow ones. though regardless of 'status', the 'tattoos' hold a lot of cultural meaning/significance. his that are higher up are usually hidden by his big scarf, and of course all of them are covered up when he's in his school uniform. he takes pride in his 'tattoos' , and is saddened that no one in this new place understand their significance ..

his aren't actual tattoos, and are moreso similar in construction to henna tattoos, which he needs to constantly maintain and take care of. but once he comes of age (about 19 or 20) they will be converted to real tattoos, primarily with magic of course, to signify how he's grown.

he is an only child, though he isn't set to take control of the community, due to his uncle's children being in line for that, since his uncle is the one who's technically the 'head'/'leader'. though Eleu is next up after his two cousins if need be. he will most likely still hold a high position of some kind, mainly in terms of overseeing foraging groups, or with organizing patrols.

despite his fears of the outside world, he actually wishes to travel around and explore new places - he's heard the queendom of roses is pretty.. and that the kingdom of heroes is exciting! but he probably wouldn't go alone... maybe he will one day find someone to share those experiences with. here's to hoping, he supposes..

he is very intimidated by his dormmates, and wished he was placed in a different dorm, but luckily no one challenges him for status since hes low on the dorms totem pole. of course some have challenged him before just to test him, or just for fun since he's weak, but that all stopped when their housewarden (Kaiyō) stepped in and soon took the deer boy 'under his wing' after being impressed by his vigor and ambition to survive. often treating Eleu like a younger brother in certain ways (dorm leader having bias/playing favorites? noo, certianly not..)

he's not friends Hikaru, having a sort of azul and idia kinship, but they stick together in order to survive. protecting eachother, despite their contrasting lifestyles and personalities (though their both shy loners, both weak combat wise, and both new to the isle of sages. so thats at leas a few things they have in common). freshmen sticking together is common in the dorm, but their not in a group like whats typical.. its just the two of them. most likely they will grow to have a brotherly friendship - like trey and riddle - eventually. probably by their 2nd or 3rd year.
