Rejection of Suffering
He was scorned and shunned by humanity, a figure acquainted with anguish and intimately familiar with suffering. As if one whom others shun, he was held in contempt, and we regarded him with disdain. Truly, he shouldered our pain and carried our afflictions, yet we perceived him as chastised by the divine, struck down and afflicted by divine forces.
