I was seen by 2 doctors before I got my official diagnosis of lupus, but I had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis before that, they are both rheumatic diseases but they can be hard to diagnose. If you have other questions feel free to ask
Thanks. After having two rheumatologists doing tests, I don’t have any autoimmune markers, but I do have multiple high levels of inflammatory markers (ESR, C-RP, etc.). Those markers, along with several symptoms that seem autoimmune or inflammatory, have yet to be explained. I’ve also had oncology/hematology and endocrinology testing that have found no answers. I’m wondering if a third rheumatologist, or just another round of testing is a good idea. I don’t want to seem like a hypochondriac...
