💪The Unsung Heroes 👊 As we were finishing the Worship Experience yesterday at @elevationhickory I looked back and saw just a glimpse into how God is working through our Production Team. You see, this team is full of people that you will probably never meet, or see most of the time. They are the unsung heroes that show up at 5:00AM every Sunday morning to run cables, set up speakers, screens, and mount projectors for the very purpose of preparing a place for someone to hear the awesome word of God in Hickory, NC. The words selfless, dedicated, professional, and driven are just a few that come to mind when I think about this team. [ P R A Y E R ] Last night we gathered as a church to pray for our city, our people, and our calling. 1 John 5:14-15 says “And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” We spoke revival over our city, that God my fill this place with His Holy Spirit and repair any brokenness, addiction, or pain. We lifted up the people in this city so that the people in this place will have hope in even their darkest places. We thanked God for this calling He has placed on each of us to reach people that are far from God so that they will be raised to life in Christ. We believe that God is moving in this place, and He is changing lives forever. We speak triumph over Hickory, NC and the people in this place.
