Forgot to post some clothes that I made~
First one is an Ouji-inspired jacket that I had upcycled from my old dark blue jacket. Added some paisley fabric, lace and flowers to it - and lots of beads! I finished this around last year, I think, and wore it to a con around August.
Second one is a floral Elven-inspired sheer duster robe. At this point I'd gotten really into Lord of the Rings again, no thanks to the three movies coming to Netflix which I had rewatched. I'm actually a bigger fan of book version Elrond. This duster is something I imagine I would like to wear around early fall while wandering around Rivendell (since summer always lingers there).
Had fun beading this one! I used up the leftover beads and fabric scraps from an older project. The lacey bits on the flowers come from an old hamper - I'd saved the organza they used to wrap the hamper~ Pretty useful! The base robe is made using some curtain net my brother had bought for my birthday! Best present ever~
Interestingly enough I had sewed this to Shire music on loop... Chanel using Shire music for their Haute Couture 2026 show was brilliant!!
