Angel's pet🪽

It's hard to admit but I was inspired by a video made with AI😔 it has this very cool concept of an incredibly generic and stereotypical angel, like the one I drew, a young blonde girl dressed in white, who actually wasn't the real angel but the true form was this centipede looking creature that was inside that outer shell, so as someone with the power and the desire to draw, I had to reinterpret the whole thing in my own way!

I was drawing this during a flight and the man sitting next to me interrupted to tell me he liked it😭❤️ thank you unknown japanese man🙏🏼 but at that moment it was just a sketch and I wanted to say "wait wait it can turn out so much better trust the process!"

Why did you draw bad bunny so pale? Yes hes light skin but even in the winter he has a yellow/tan hue to his skin

You're right!! When I first colored it with a flat color it was much darker, but then I think I added too much light making the result look paler, it might also be because at the end I increased the contrast and lowered the saturation!

Thanks for pointing this out! It has already happened that sometimes when I tried to draw characters with dark skin, they turned out lighter than I had intended and I never understood what brought me to a different result. Maybe now I finally get it!

Inspired by Bodhidharma by Agriculture, which I love a lot!

The song is inspired by the story of the Buddhist monk of the same name (founder of Zen Buddhism) and his second successor, Huike

To be accepted as a student, Huike cut off his own left arm and offered it to him as a sign of his dedication, a bit too much if you ask me, but at least after that, the monk finally decided to accept him, after having already refused and left him to freeze in the snow!

Inspired by hares (gotta be one of the coolest creatures) and more in general by animals, more or less domesticated, kept in captivity in environments unsuited to their needs for someone else's amusement, because It pisses me off so bad to see pet owners who don't educate themselves about their animal's needs and think that the power of love is enough to make up for their ignorance, loving someone doesn't automatically mean you can't cause them pain!

I had 100 other things in my mind while I was drawing, but this is all I remember right now, so I leave the rest open to interpretation!

Close your eyes, pray for plagues-

Inspired by respiratory system, lungs aren't on my top 3 favorite organs, especially to draw because they're kinda boring, but they are also sooo underrated!🫁

I listened to Count Your Blessings on loop while drawing this, for me Bring Me The Horizon are one of those bands that despite alternating between periods where I listen to them a lot and others where I listen less, have remained a constant in my life, so you can imagine how happy I was to hear they had re-recorded this album!!😭🖤 That was also one of my first approaches to deathcore!

Inspired by Saint Sebastian, a saint and martyr who was a Roman soldier but secretly converted to Christianity and supported persecuted believers🏹

I think everyone has seen the paintings of him pierced by arrows at least once, but I don't know if you all know that wasn't the cause of his death! Despite being riddled with arrows, they didn't actually kill him, he was rescued and healed by Saint Irene of Rome!👏🏼👏🏼 (and then he was killed anyway because otherwise he couldn't have been a martyr)

That's why this lady doesn't give a fuck about being wounded, it takes much more effort to hurt her!

-Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see-

Inspired by animals that have opportunistic omnivorous behaviors despite being classified as herbivores, deer are one of these, they don't actively hunt prey but target animals that are easy to catch, such as small rodents (but also bones and carcasses) to help their diet which is deficient in minerals!

To me it's always a pleasure to draw these magical creatures!🦌

-A life consumed by faith-

Inspired by Blinding Faith by Knocked Loose, moldy fruits and the original sin, I feel that this is a song that Eve would definitely listen to and say "real shit"

I spent a long time trying to figure out how to draw something moldy because the look can vary greatly depending on what's rotting, I haven't quite figured it out yet, but for now I'm happy with this result!🍎

-Why you lookin' so beautiful to me now when you're so sad?-

Angel in captivity! I wanted to draw the wings clipped, but they're objectively much more beautiful whole!🪽

Clipping the wings means trimming the primary flight feathers to limit the bird's ability to fly high or fast, while still allowing them to glide to the ground. It certainly wouldn't be pleasant for an angel, but despite everything, it's a temporary situation because the feathers fall out and grow back!

-How do I numb myself when God is preying on the weak?-

Elf chilling in a tree that she decorated with people who were bothering her!

Think about how annoying it must be for a woodland creature with long hair to just sit in a tree without getting tangled in the branches🙄

Such an impratical beauty standard🤦🏻‍♂️ but I'm satisfied with how it turned out!

Here's a saint branded with fire, or at least that's what I wanted to do, but I literally didn't look at a single reference, so they're just generic wounds!

Also inspired by Saint Mary, even though I'm not a believer, she's a character who fascinates me and that I particularly respect, maybe because her suffering gives me the impression of being more human and less otherworldly than that of other religious figures

Did you know that Mary has a specific color that represents her?☝🏼🤓 It's called Marian blue, it was extracted from lapis lazuli and used in paintings!

I love doing this so every year I can see not only the changes in my artstyle but also how I change personally, and every year I can look at the previous one and think "what the fuck was that? And I thought it was the best version lmaooo" but I think it's a good thing cause it means I'm more satisfied now ahaha!

I also drew an owl because I've been told that I look like one for reasons that I don't fully comprehend, also because I don't know if it's a compliment or what, but I love owls so I take it as a big compliment😁

Inspired by "Cold Hearts in Bloom" by Dying Wish, that is one of my favorite bands, I love Emma's voice so much!

It was supposed to be just a drawing, but I've been practicing writing with this kind of font that I've never figured out if it has a specific name, but I'm sure you get what I'm talking about from the pic, so I added the title too!🫀

And since I'm pretty happy with the result it won its own slide!
