For Me Friday, Elf Coat Update.

I finished the skirt portion of the Elf Coat (pattern by @moralefiber). I decided to steam it as I go. Not very happy with the large blocks of color between each color change in the yarn, but I am still loving the pattern.

Manic Monday March 30

I was just starting to plan my summer fairy gardens and I woke up to 2 hours of having to shovel snow!!!

Oh well, onto this week's crochet plans.

I am really happy with my Elf Coat progress so far. This week I plan to crochet the right front and get it steamed.

2. Still working on the Cuddle Noodles, and I keep getting more ideas. I have added some Neck Noodle pillows to the pattern. Getting those done this week then finishing the slip covers. Hoping patterns will be able to be published in 2 weeks.

Found out the friend's baby shower will be May 2. I had a bit of a panic about it last week and got most of the blanket done. Now I realize I have a little more than 4 weeks until it's needed and only about 6 rounds to work. I am loving the way the pattern is turning out.

And there's still be basic stitch tutorials on the go. I am making a series demonstrating the basic stitches in rows and rounds, creating a washcloth for each post. I am also going to be including some basic free hat patterns with some fun pompom designs. (Just realized by the time I'm done this it will be summer) oh well, it was middle of winter when the inspiration struck!

Here's this week's to-do sticky note cabinet. I will get it all done depite all the Easter prep I need to do this week!

"For Me" Friday on Saturday? And Elf Coat progress.

I somehow lost a day this week (it could be the massive amount of snow shovelings I've been doing!?!) I just realized that today is Saturday. Where did Friday go?

I am so excited to have finally started on the Elf Coat pattern by @moralefiber. Got a good start on the skirt part panels and am loving the tunisian crochet ... looks just like knitting.

I am discovering that me, tunisian crochet, and gauge are not friends.

Manic Monday Jun 29

Back with another Manic Monday where I create my crochet to-do plans for the week. But first here is a picture of my Rock Garden. Can you see my little Starchild?

Okay onto my crochet stuff. Here are this week's plans:

So close to completing mt For Me Friday Elf Coat. Unfortunately it takes me about 1 1/2 hours to do a round of trim, I've got 1 round done, this week I will do 1 more round.

Didn't get any editing done on my Harlequin Onesie, I had a little too much pattern editing, writing, and formatting stuff for shops going on last week, and it always takes way longer than I plan it to. So the Onesie will hopefully be done this week.

I still have 5 more Meditation to list this week for my side project for my Crystals & Crochet with a Pinch of Rosemary (making products that involve "intentional crocheting".

The Flat Hat patterns have been written and formatted, the pattern will be posted this week.
