Hey, I'm writing a book where at one point my two main characters live in France for a while. Any tips on where they would live and or things I should take into consideration when having then live there? You don't have to answer this if you don't want to. Thanks either way. *hugs*

Where they could live, I really couldn’t tell you? Wherever you want I imagine :3 Things to keep in mind though:

There’s probably a strike going on. To protest what? No one really knows. What’s certain is that there’s a strike.

Public transport is probably late or unoperating. Because of the strike.

If your characters live in the South-West, they say “chocolatine”

If your characters live anywhere else and have common sense, they say “pain au chocolat”

It’s 10am on a Sunday. Everything is closed.

“Avoid carbs” never made it in the Larousse Dictionary

There’s a bakery right at the street corner. You look the other way. There another bakery. All the shop are bakeries

People really get pissed off when you don’t say “Bonjour” first

Paris is not France and France is not Paris.

We’re not big in coffee shops. We’re big on bar and café culture. Cafés and coffee shops aren’t the same thing

Allura probably didn’t know what “superheroes” meant, but she seemed to comprehend the gist of the question. “In a way, yes,” she said. “Each of the lions is associated with an element. Once you form a bond with your lion, you will develop abilities associated with that element.”

“Really? Sweet!” Lance fist-pumped the air. “I hope I get to shoot fireballs out of my hands.”

“Shiro’s going to carry Lance over to the fire truck before I can look at him, so right now I’m more concerned about you, you big dummy,” she said. “You look like you’re about to fall over.”  Her tone was was teasing, but Keith could sense the undercurrent of worry in her voice.

Keith didn’t protest, grateful for the support as they stumbled forward.

Love (from my YouTuber AU):

“He’s cute,” Shiro offered, watching Keith for his reaction.  

Keith let out a groan.  “Shiro I think I’m in love.”

i usually write it start to finish, bc skipping around gets me all jumbled up and confused and im more likely to lose track of what im doing

tbh im really not into major character death, even tho, ironically, three years ago i was writing a fic where one of the main characters was gonna die lmao. but like, now??? nah
