What an honor to collaborate with my dear friend @elgaladwen

I drew the line art for this piece, and she so masterfully painted it (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) It is so cool seeing our art melded together with our sweetest otp, Elgaladwen and Gallorith (ElGallorith) I would love to do something like this again sometime in the future ₊˚⊹♡

I was so happy to get one of their commission spots, and even more happy with how it turned out. I love the pose, their expressions, their outfits, and the details so much! (The little dragonfly!) I feel as if I came upon these two in a glade while they've forgotten the rest of the world exists. (My sweet Gallorith belongs to @angbands-last-hero <3<3)

Please meet (not entirely accurate) Gallorith Ken, and Elgaladwen Barbie.

Gallorith knits, so I made him some needles and a little project to work on. 🧶

I got the 'Elgaladwen' Barbie back in high school, mostly because she looked like me a bit, but also because she could be my LoTR OC. (Big surprise, my cringe self-insert OC looked like me! I promise she has evolved a ton since then, but also I was 15, so I get some leeway, right? 😂 Also I've gotten old and look a lot different now too, darn not really being an elf) I also have a Barbie that looks more like her as she was in the Forgotten Realms MUD I played, and that's really where most of the modern character came from, but anyway I digress, because this one actually looks how I picture the LOTRO version of her now, so I've come full circle!

I only got Gallorith Ken recently because I was joking that Elgaladwen Barbie needed him, so I started looking up Ken dolls with man buns, and there are some bad ones, but this one was actually pretty good face-wise, even if real Gallorith doesn't shave the sides of his head, and should obviously have elf ears. (Also can I just say, their faces have come a loooong way since 2002 which is when the Barbie is from. She could never have had her Gallorith back then!) I know it's probably possible to modify the hair and ears, but I don't really want to learn how to do that with all the hobbies I already have, and it's fun to pet the short side hair. It's fuzzy.

Real Gallorith belongs to @sewer-princess, who puts up with me doing stuff like this. 🤣❤️
