You guys know how like, in the Percy Jackson fandom we love Percy because he's an overpowered main character who is relatable and funny as fuck?

Well, now I'm introducing you to!!! Michael Vey! He is a super overpowered character in the Michael Vey series and I'm here to expand the fandom!

He is a silly guy who's funny as fuck and he has cool friends who are also funny and it's a similar kind of kids beat older and more experienced power hungry people!

And from the start Michael is super overpowered and we love him.

He also has tourettes and it's a GOOD adaptation of tourettes which i love (as someone who has tourettes)

I'm currently rereading the series and it's been my favorite since I was 12 and I need people to read it! There are 8 books rn and a 9th one is coming out or is already out!

+ bisexual, doesnt have a preference

+ uses he/they pronouns

+ has read a ton of the Star Wars books, played the lego video games & watched all the shows & movies

+ listens to popular 80s music cause of his mom & pop/country ‘cause of taylor

+ really wants to have kids with taylor

+ wears hoodies almost all the time, including the one taylor gave him in the first book

+ keeps his hair just long enough to tuck the front bits behind his ears

you know what is absolutely HILARIOUS about this ask... i’ve literally thought this exact thing.

my sister and i really love the MCU (specifically the Spider-man’s) and one day i SPRINTED to her room because i had an epiphany.

i realized how eerily SIMIALR Peter Parker is to Michael Vey and their stories.

both have special powers/abilities

social outcast of their schools

both have a nerdy, chubby best friend

get a girlfriend (granted, Taylor is polar opposite to MJ)

have familial issues

both awkward and shy (so cute tho)

and overall their character and morals are almost exactly the same.

anyways, this is something i thought of the other day and i find it really funny you had the same thought as me!

(and let’s not forget to mention the fact that tom holland is quite attractive and i think fits the role of michael physically, as well lol)
