Some people have reported difficulty reaching egscomics.com. If this is the case for you, I recommend trying elgoonishshive.com. I have no idea why two domains with the same provider on the same system would have different levels of success, but that seems to be the case.
As much as I don't want to, I will be looking into other hosting options and will be making a change if these issues don't resolve in a permanent fashion soon (I'll be looking either way, but I hold out hope that whatever the cause of these issues is can be resolved. Really seems like that should be possible).
One of my short term concerns is simply how time consuming setting up the new site would be. I'd want to use a new system, which would mean a simple copy/pasting of commentaries wouldn't result in working links, and if the new links don't simply go by date, then a "find and replace" option won't work.
I'm seriously considering whether it would be worth investing in hiring someone to set everything up for me, but I dread how much that would likely cost me. Of course, I also have to consider how much it would cost to have to cut back on the update schedule and take longer to have it all done.
It's a tricky behind-the-scenes sort of issue that frustrates me because, at the end of the day, I just want to focus on making comics.
