Name change!
No more Bulbie for me. I’ve been sick and tired of that nickname for yeeeeears. I just always feel so awkward if I have to tell it to someone IRL and prefer to write it over saying it out loud. Finally decided to change it to something that has nothing to do with a specific video game and is instead based on my own name.
Just makes it feel so much more... mine.
So from now on, I’ll go by Elie or Eliekins online.
That feeling when you should go sleep because there’s an important event tomorrow but you’re watching a stream of a guy speedrunning Majora’s Mask 100% and he’s doing pretty well so you doN’T WANT TO GO SLEEP BECAUSE YOU WANT TO SEE HOW THE RUN WILL GO AND IF HE’LL MAKE ANOTHER WORLD RECORD TONIGHT. HELP.
That feeling when you can’t decide whether you want to give a character big or small wings. Just. The small wings LOOK nice and so cute. But they wouldn’t be enough for the character to fly. While the big wings look okay, but obviously mess with the character’s silhouette and make his design more busy to look at. HNGH. Decisions, decisions!
Wanting to get something off my chest.
Never have I ever felt the need to remove someone from my contacts over an argument but I guess it finally happened. That’s a new one. Who would have thought that I would get into a debate over USA politics, feminism and racism when neither of us is American. Especially since I don’t consider myself as someone who has super heavy opinions on these matters besides racism.
To think that even from the first talk with this guy, I got very bad vibes because the behaviour was exactly something Tumblr had warned me about.. I will not go into detail, but wow... I thought he was “making every mistake in the book” with me but I never thought the vibes would prove to have been so... accurate. A part of me wishes this was just a big joke and he was trolling us all, but I DID ask him to be serious. And he claimed to be.
Think I need to go watch some videos of kittens being rescued by firemen now. Could use some faith in humanity restoring right about now.
I was able to install Sai on my school computer and it wORKS. THE BLISS. I’ve missed my blendy brushes and easy-to-change brush sizes. ;A;
I had to mention that somewhere. I have a feeling I'll be staying at school after hours a lot from Wednesdays to Fridays. Just so I can draw my own crap with Sai. e_e
That moment when you’ve been playing Skyrim since afternoon and suddenly realize it’s almost midnight, you have school tomorrow and you’ve not even washed your hair yet. Much less eaten anything besides chips and candy.
But thEN. after shower you realize school starts at 1pm because two courses don’t start until the following week. BLESS. I don’t need to choose between eating and sleeping a semi-decent amount.
