open event starter loc: δτκ house, delta mascerade ball
"Thank you my good man, and don't be afraid to take a lap, I might just need something else besides the cider." Elias winks to the server holding a tray of champagne flutes. He gives the helpful wizard a tap on the shoulder, a couple of coins slipping into the man's vest pocket before stepping back. Elias continues his prowl across the delta house, watching closely for anyone whom might enjoy a lengthy stay at the masquerade. He had worn a simple ensemble, bold colors and garments that accentuated only the best parts of the undergrad. Though of course, all was easily removeable in case the situation called for it.
He had viewed Wickerby's as a pillar in the wizarding community. Had studied long and hard to get in. Though, along the way, Elias had gotten distracted. By the men, by the flesh. It all enraptured him and with one as prone to fights as him, it help keep his mind in one place. Talks about potential shifts in school society had been scoring across Elias' ears as of late. How else to find more about these whispers than to spend time where he could draw whispers out best. His mask covered the top of his face, the edges frilled and attached with red and black lace. A simple design for a mask, but it did the trick in ensnaring his prey.
Putting the glass to his lips, Elias' eyes scanned the room for anyone of interest, anyone who might whisper a good nothing or too to him. He lifts his chin and the glass up, taking a swig before someone bumps into him. "As I always say, it's not a party til the drinks end up on your clothes." A mischievous smile spreads across his face as Elias takes out his wand. With a quick flick, he draws out the cider from his clothes and back into the glass. "Enjoying the party, I hope."
