Day 1: Youth/Oath
Day 1 of EliHec Week (yay!)
I made a smol Icon for @elihec-week , which anyone can use and it would be great if they credited me UwU.
Also, if anyone needs this:
Small, terrible edit for those whose birthday is on this week ((aka me and a few other people. Happy Born-Day to us!))

Fandom: Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword) Characters: Eliwood, Hector Pairings: EliHec (Eliwood/Hector) WARNINGS: Light gore, body horror, and blood (all of which are in a nightmare), vomiting, canonical character death, SPOILERS. Summary: Durandal takes control of his body, thrusting itself into the dragon's chest, and Eliwood wakes up screaming. Notes: I've been agonizing over this for months. Enormous segments have been purged, then rewritten, then purged again, then copy-pasted back in. The cursor has hovered over a single word for hours on end. I've deleted a comma; stared intensely at the screen for several minutes. Replaced the comma. And the ending still doesn't feel right. But I already missed EliHec week, so you're getting this anyway. Despite everything, I'm proud of this. now who's ready to suffer
(supposed to be for @elihec-week day 3 (curse/comfort), though I didn’t finish it in time)

EliHec Week Day 1: Youth/Oath Fandom: Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword) Characters: Eliwood, Hector, Erik, Uther Pairings: Pre-EliHec (Eliwood/Hector) WARNINGS: I’m going to tag this as self-harm, just in case; they cut their palms to do the “warrior’s bond/blood brothers” thing. Summary: When Hector meets Eliwood for the first time, he doesn't leave much of an impression. Yet, within the first few hours of meeting each other, they perform the warrior's oath together. Little do they know just how strong their bond will become--and how long that bond will last. Notes: AHHHHHH ELIHEC WEEK IS FINALLY HERE!!!!! @elihec-week

EliHec Week Day 2: Sparring/Travel Fandom: Fire Emblem (Blazing Sword) Characters: Eliwood, Hector Pairings: Pre-EliHec (Eliwood/Hector) WARNINGS: Minor injuries sustained in a friendly spar. Summary: Hector is the strongest of the lordlings, and Eliwood knows that he's a strong contender for the weakest. Twelve years old, and he can barely handle a wooden sword, much less the iron weapons Hector can use. The idea of a fight between them just seems... pathetic to him. They all know what the outcome would be. Hector has different thoughts. (Or: the start of Eliwood and Hector's bi-monthly sparring sessions.) Notes: Why does all of my EliHec stuff involve some kind of hand-holding or momentous hand-clasping? @elihec-week
