One sided love

To the man I will never get a chance to love but always will love,

I didn’t plan to fall for you, you were just supposed to be a celebrity crush from a group. I never planned to get so involved in learning about you. I didn’t plan to learn about your past to see how you had got where you are now. I didn’t plan to scroll all the way back to the very first tumblr post you made and read all of them until I finished at 3:30 am. To me a person’s tumblr is like their story, it shows you what interest them. It shows you what they like and dislike, what they stand for, and you can even learn facts about them if they answer questions people asked. I found his tumblr to be like his diary, where he could escape from the life as a celebrity and just be himself. I found myself falling for the words written in his diary. We both like photography and they say if you really want to know what a person finds special or important in their life just look through their photos. His love for his friends and family is inspiring, I fell for his words and the way he respected women. I fell for his positivity and his desire to make people lives better just by making them smile or life. I saw him less as a celebrity and more as art. I wondered how he could steal the brightness from the sun and put it in his smile. I wondered how he could take the beautiful light from the moon and reflect them in his eyes making it hard for me to look away. I want to ask him how he took the angels ability to speak and placed it in his voice so that when he talked I always had to listen. When he laughs I hear the happiness of children having fun on the playground. When he sings I hear the voice he was given by the angels up in heaven. When he writes…it’s as if God is whispering to him what to say, to show the peace, love, and positivity he so destined for the world to be filled with so why wouldn’t I be intrigued and want to follow his lead? I found myself admiring his facial features but falling for his soul. For each star in the sky I can give you a reason for why I fell for him but by the time I finished I realized his soul was made up of the galaxy, every star representing a reason I fell for him, every color representing a different emotion that he and I have been through but for different reasons and the darkness representing the emptiness that the galaxy had to break through I wonder…how someone can be made up of the world and not even realize it. But even with all of this said, even if I gave him a letter with this wrote in it I would still be only looked at as a dedicated fan. This is the hard times of a one sided love and even knowing that I will be nothing more than a fan…my feelings will never change

Elijah’s letter he never got

Hi Elijah,

           My name is Jackie and I’m 19 years old, you met me at the Nikki’s Music meet & greet in Cleveland, OH. I wrote this letter because I knew I would probably forget everything I wanted to say or I would embarrass myself when I actually met you. I first wanted to thank you for being a part of Mindless Behavior. I had been a fan of MB since 2010 so when I found out someone new was being added I wasn’t sure what to expect, but you more than proved that you deserved to be in this group. You have a beautiful voice that I envision is how angels would sound if they were to sing.

           You are actually my favorite out of the group, you have an amazing personality that draws me to you more and more each day. You are sweet, kind, thoughtful, caring, and a gentleman. You really are a sweetheart and know how to make a person feel really special. I remember people on twitter talking about their experiences meeting you and they were all so positive and sweet. People said how happy and nice you were. They talked about how beautiful your smile was and how you give the best hugs ever, it actually made me more excited to meet you. I was so happy when I found out there was going to be a meet & greet in Cleveland because a lot of people don’t come here and my favorite group was. I probably was a klutz or embarrassed myself so I apologize if our interaction was weird but that’s just what you do to me.

           I wish words could describe how much love I and tons of fans all over the word have for you but nothing seems to perfectly describe our feelings. You are very important to a lot of people and you mean a lot to so many. I want you to never forget that okay? Never forget the smiles you brought to people faces, or the laughs you gave them. Never forget how tight fans hugged you (I probably hugged you really tight and slightly longer than the others lol), or how fans looked at you as if you were their world. Never forget the tears of happiness fans shed because their dream of meeting you have come true or fans covering their faces blushing because of how sweet you are. No matter what happens or how you feel always remember that you are loved, always have been and always will be. I hope whenever you feel sad you read this letter and smile knowing that someone truly loves you.

P.S. I’ll let you have your fun for now but I’m going to start pulling at your heart strings so that one day you can be mine if I’m lucky. I love you Elijah and it was a pleasure meeting you
