( yeah ! i just went over and followed you on him :) my activity on there has been really spotty recently but i’m there from time to time! gandalf is my absolute favorite character of all time!! )
{He’s such a good character, we’ll totally have to do a plot or something once I’ve read a bit more of the series and can figure out how to make a verse for Rudy. I have to admit I’m always on the verge of making a Bilbo Baggins}
send me five times kissed for a drabble about five times our muses kissed
One
It was after a hunt, and the metallic smell of blood lingered in the silent air of the car; they hadn’t spoken in an hour. Dean knew because he counted the minutes on his phone- he was filled with regret because he cursed Elijah with the life of the type of angel he wasn’t. Long story short, he’d corrupted the sweet being, and he’d deprived him of the time that he could be using to serve innocent children. Pulling over to the side of the road, he stopped the car to an abrupt halt, earning a side glance from the blonde; it was a brief one, but Dean felt his heart sink the every moment Elijah laid eyes on him. He looked so sorrowful, and it was because he killed for the hunter. Looking out the window, his hand shooting up to his mouth, because he felt the urge to bite his nail on instant impulse, he chewed on his finger- reminding himself of a coward for being able to do this, instead of talking to the angel. So when he plucked up the courage, he looked over, and laid a hand on Elijah’s thigh, and eventually their lips found each other for a heartfelt kiss. Only after he pulled away, and leaned their foreheads together did Dean speak. ”I’m sorry.”

Dean should have know he was getting sick; with the unusual decrease in his appetite, even with a burger presented in front of him, it was evident that things weren’t okay. And when the flu hit, it felt like a truck had practically bashed his head in; and that he was straddling the line between the Sahara Desert, and the Arctic, in terms of body temperature. Of course, Elijah was there to help him; he’d showed up the minute Dean had collapsed on the bed, almost as if something had gone off and alerted him. The hunter didn’t notice with his condition, until he was woken back up with the smell of chicken noodle soup near his face, and had the privilege of seeing the angel’s sweet face as the first thing when he opened his eyes again. He then mumbled something about how Elijah shouldn’t be around him, since he was sick- and the angel simply shook his head, and leaned in, planting a chaste, yet loving kiss onto the hunter’s lips. And Dean couldn’t help but smile, because he knew Elijah couldn’t get the flu, meaning he could still kiss him as much as he wanted.

Angels couldn’t sleep- still, Elijah bore long nights with Dean, in his bed; probably dealing with the hunter’s countless mumblings, and nightmares, all throughout the weeks, and the months. Dean didn’t know how he dealt with it, or why he still stuck around with him, but he did, and he was thankful. Especially for the mornings where he opened his eyes to come face to face with Elijah; who still shut his eyes, despite the fact that he could never achieve slumber. And he knew the blonde knew that Dean was awake, but still, he didn’t bother letting his eyes open until the hunter leaned over, and planted the sweetest, and softest of kisses, all over his face, before trailing to the angel’s lips. That’s when they met eyes, and Dean could feel the sparks fly, and illuminate the dark skies inside his chest.

Despite their dreamlike state, they too had their fights- a lot of the times they did actually argue, and what not, it was over trivial things, the hunter thought. Like, Dean had always thought that he was 90 percent crap- he knew he was hopeless, and he knew that he’d get Elijah killed someday, because that was just what happened to the people around him. And knowing all of that, he couldn’t help the snarky comments, laced with dark humor, that escaped his lips on the matter- he couldn’t help putting himself down constantly, and all of that seemed to piss off the angel. So much, that they were yelling in the motel room, and actually having the people next door yell back at them to shut the fuck up. Eventually, they did silence- sitting on the opposite sides of the bed, backs turned to each other. Dean knew both of their eyes were tearstricken, only his were less evident, but he didn’t care. He was still the first one to crack, and to crawl on the bed, approaching the angel from behind, and wrapping his arms around him. His lips found the crook of Elijah’s neck, and planted the littlest of kisses, while his nose inhaled his smell. And he mumbled a ‘I’m sorry’ into his skin, and Elijah must have known, because he eventually turned his head to Dean, and graced the hunter with a kiss.

Dean loved taking Elijah out to parks, and to basically anywhere that made the angel smile- which meant that the hunter took him to the candy shop pretty often. In every town they traveled to, they’d at least go to the candy shop three times. And it meant he spent a lot of money, but he couldn’t help it, Dean would give just about anything to see him happy. He loved seeing him stuff his face with sweets, and he especially loved receiving kisses from him then, after having eaten all that candy. Out of habit, the hunter would even nip at the blonde’s lip, because he tasted so sweet, and he’d receive a little yelp, or a little slap, accompanied by a goofy grin from the other. And it made him wish that life was sweet everyday.
